*Must stop in MKE because it’s the best brewery in the area! The tour is the best by far, the staff is even better – they love their jobs and they love beer! The patio is very large that can seat lots of people during peak hours along the river. The cheese curds are our favorite app on the menu but close second is the fish fry! They offer food inside and outside along with two different smaller taps outside. Parking along Commerce is easy to find or can you park on the side streets. Highly recommended!

Incredibly cool spot with great beer, and their cheese curds are top of the line compared with anywhere else I’ve had! The biggest issue I had was that we were told we had to leave after an hour of being there with the restaurant much less than half full? I would have liked to try out a couple more of their beers and enjoy the atmosphere but for whatever reason they don’t let people do that, which is unfortunately a deal breaker for me and most others I know. Worth going and checking it out though!

We had a group of 5 for the tour. Ben was our guide. We all loved his enthusiasm and how he told the history of the brewery. He was the best. The beers we had to taste were all good. Great experience. Great food later. Cheese curds chicken strip on a salad and burgers were awesome. Highly recommend this place

I love the that it was by the river and bridge overlooking the Milwaukee River.
The Museum campus was beautiful.
I love the Chronological order of all the Bikes displayed and Evel Knievel was excellent.
His Bike in the Air!
I spent all day there.
The restaurant and gift shop were nice as well.
All the employees are warm, friendly and happy.
They were very helpful.
It was a great day at Harley Davidson!

Was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did! So much history with Harley Davidson that’s well laid out and informative (we spent 3 hours exploring all the floors and doing all the interactions / videos). Cool interactive stations that pull together the various sections of museum. Def recommend (for those who like audio tours – $5 each and worth it).

they did not perform the opening/closing due to winds of over 20 mph (my hair didn't move at all, it was really not windy but they needed an excuse not to perform the opening).

They do not take phone calls, do not mention that the opening/closing might not happen, and simply respond vaguely to the reasoning why the flaps didn't open/close - basically trying to evade.

Needs a lot of improvement if they want to be a landmark, starting with overall better customer experience."}]}

This is a great modern art museum. It has some nice older stuff too. Very open and spacious this art museum sits on lake Michigan in a very modern building. It’s a great place to take pictures both in and out. I highly recommend you visit.

A must do when in Milwaukee. Parking is a breeze and affordable. You get a two-fer! The Veterans War museum is next door. While donations are welcome admission is free. It’s worth the stop-in just for the stunning view from the upper level. The Art museum is well laid out. Each piece has the opportunity to stand-out front and center against the white wall background, well positioned lighting and for a bonus you get more lake views from the strategically placed windows. End your day with a rental bike ride on the lake front also perfectly located just outside the museum, lake side.

Amazing! I could spend weeks here and it wouldn’t be long enough to take it all in. We came on a day where they had a special event, so we only had 3 hours, but we were able to see everything…just not able to read as much as we would have liked. Wear comfy shoes! I definitely got my 10,000 steps in 😉

This museum had a great rainforest exhibit! Unfortunately I felt there could have been more animal exhibits in their natural habitat instead of showcasing only the animals. I enjoyed all the human culture exhibits even though I am often not a fan of them. I wish they were honestly bigger such as the Northwest American exhibit. I had fun dancing in one the many South American/Mexican exhibits!

It was a beautiful fall evening in October. I was with 3 other friends and we had fairly large group. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of information about Milwaukee history and he would substantiate it from many different sources.
It was a fun experience and I would recommend anyone who is interested in Milwaukee history and/or ghostly occurrences to take a tour. We have told many people about it.

Oh man, this was one of our favorite places to visit in Milwaukee! So fun for kids of all ages (my 30-something year old husban had a blast). Probably best for 12 and under as they state. Rotating crafting exhibit was very cool and sounds like they have some great new exhibits coming up soon. Highly recommend; will definitely be going back!

Our kids love coming to this place, but our visit today was disappointing. So many exhibits malfunctioning or not working at all. If one pays for an admission, it would be great to be able for the kids to have a full experience. An overall great environment for kids, just wish that upkeep was a little better.

The Best Place was literally the best place for our wedding on 10/2/21. Everything was beautiful – the ceremony in the outdoor courtyard, reception in blue ribbon hall, and all the history the venue has. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, especially the coordinator Sarah. A little slow to respond sometimes but ALWAYS got back to us with thoroughly answering our questions. When it started to rain, the staff did everything to make sure things were perfect. We loved how reasonable this venue was and the customizable bar packages. We were able to have our dream wedding within our budget. The only downside I can think of for this amazing venue was the later ceremony/start time. We weren’t contracted to start until 5pm and unable to start setup until 2pm. To alleviate the stress of set up, I designated some family to do it and gave them detailed instructions with pictures on how to do it. It ended up working really well.
Thank you SO much to everyone at the Best Place for hosting our event and helping us create our whimsical, ethereal, cottage core vibe wedding.

As we arrived we checked in and were told we could purchase a cocktail ($8) before taking our tour. The tour itself was great! Brendan was a fun guide who was very knowledgeable. We were able to taste 5 or 6 of their spirits, but it was done very rushed. I’d not quite finish two sips and they’d be around to pour the next one. This made it hard to appreciate the taste of each one. There also were no chairs to sit while tasting which was unfortunate.

Great visit and experience. Tour host was highly informative, engaging and funny. Tasting area was clean but very hot. Fans were present but not running and would have greatly improved the experience. A few stools were available but not enough for everyone. The bar area and patio were clean, comfortable & relaxing. All staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend a visit on a cool day for maximum enjoyment.

I love how we’re seeing so many distilleries and breweries pop up in our great state—Wisconsin has a lot to offer. With that said, the best vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, and other spirits are all at Great Lakes. The barrel aged gins are absolute perfection. The cocktails are incredible and everyone behind the bar knows exactly what they’re doing. The regulars are welcoming and kind. The food is even great. If you’re looking for the perfect local spot, here it is.

First time I’ve been here. Had a one hour guided tour to explain the whole history of legendary beer baron Captain Frederick Pabst and his wife, Maria Best Pabst and their whole family through the years. Completed in 1892. Simply magnificent, such stunning architecture and craftsmanship all hand made. Stunning art collections, furniture , light fixtures, wall paper, hand made as well. I highly recommend taking a tour here. Worth your time to witness living history up close and personal!

We weren’t sure what to expect, but we really enjoyed this tour! We were visiting Milwaukee for the first time and this was one of the top rated things to do. We weren’t sure if it would be worth $15/person for a guided tour, but it absolutely was! My wife and I were the only ones for our particular tour (10a on a Thursday), so we had a private tour. Beautiful house and it was cool to learn how a wealthy family lived in those times.

Tours are very reasonably priced. I went to the Saturday evening Beer tour, and each guest got two beers each. Two beers alone was nearly worth the cost of the ticket. Our tour guide Ken was very knowledgeable and also had a very good sense of humor. The house itself was in phenomenal shape, and there was a lot of fascinating history. Items in the gift shop were reasonably priced as far as gift shops go too. My only complaint is the beer tours do not get to go to the 3rd floor, and apparently the other tours do. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back.

the church itself is beautiful, but the fact that i can’t bring my 90 year old grandfather communion back home to him is not only severely disappointing but disgusting as well. he is 90 YEARS OLD, he is not going to be able to walk through a church. how is this acceptable? just because he is unable to walk in to church he is therefore denied a chance to receive the body of christ? never coming back.

Clean, beautiful park. From political demonstrations, to coffee, to ice skating, Red Arrow has it all. If your planning to go to Starbucks, call ahead, the hours have been hit or miss as of late!!

As the name suggests, this is a cigar bar and if you do not like the smell of cigar you might wanna consider another place. There's not much smoke, as this place offers a front outside seating as well as rooftop seating. These open areas help reduce smoke to almost nonexistent but the strong smell of cigar will still be there.

The service is great. Our bartender was very nice. Unfortunately she ended up charging my card twice (one of which was a completely wrong amount so it wasn't like it was a duplication error). The issue was quickly resolved once I reached out to management.

We sat on the rooftop, which we were told is only open on weekends. The place was perfect. There was a small bar up there and the service was fast.

We ordered a pizza. It was very good. One of the best. Definitely better than what you expect from a bar. We were impressed.

The whole place is basically a museum. Going upstairs you'll see different artifacts and decorations. Very interesting.

Unfortunately, the rooftop requires going Nemours flights of stairs. It's a bit steep. A beautiful place to be while in a n urban setting. Plenty of activities around this park. They offer scooter rentals, Swan pedal boat rentals for a great rate. Depending on where you’re located in the park, you can see beautifully tall buildings and also view the harbor with numerous sailboats. It’s a very public location that would also be a fantastic picnicking spot.

I was a foreman here for JP Cullen when they did the restoration on this building a good 15yrs ago. Made a lot of money, had even more laughs. Also took many a cool picture but my brainiac now Xgf erased them all to do a photo shoot with her dog🤨 All those cool pictures from up on the scaffolding, inside the bell tower, way up on the bell tower where all the little porthole type doors are, standing in front of the clock on scaffolding, every last one is gone. She had a great rack though, gotta give her credit on that one

Easy to pay taxes. It’s open just wear a mask in building. Friendly people willing to help don’t be afraid to ask for help

The Haggerty has many pieces I do not consider “art,” but given it is a small university museum and not a large operation, I’m willing to overlook. Known for its religious Dali piece (pictured) and Marc Chagall’s religious pieces, it’s nice place to stop by when you’re in the area. Also pictured “The Great Lakes Cycle” by Alexis Rosman. The curator, Lynne, is quite nice–willing to explain the pieces and walk you through the exhibition.

One of the better museums in Milwaukee and it’s absolutely free. Put this on your must see list.
