THE PROJECT
A Multi-National Law Firm hosted their summer social at RPM on the Water, which we completely transformed for this event. One of the challenges for BlackOak was the expedited turnaround time. We planned and executed this event within a week and a half. Due to the timeline, the client was very involved in conveying the design direction and trusted us to achieve their vision on-site.
The technical components worked well with the décor to give a luxurious feel. The client wanted an upscale look to the space so their guests could feel special gathering together for the first time. KEHOE DESIGNS created lush, full florals and carpeted the entire room in a rich blue tone with gold accents. To provide that wow factor, BlackOak brought in recessed LED walls, lighting, and custom content commissioned by an artist displayed on the walls. The design was inspired by high-end restaurants and interior spaces, which drove the conversation around the elements we provided on-site. We didn’t allow the restrictions of the venue to keep us from achieving the client’s vision, which made for a successful partnership.
