THE PROJECT
The initial challenge was taking Bottom Line’s event that has been historically in-person and transitioning it into a virtual event — while still raising money for first generation students from underserved neighborhoods to break the cycle of poverty. We produced a hybrid event with a TV talk show-like atmosphere. This allowed the in-person component to be intimate and exclusive while engaging to the virtual attendees. Using the BlackOak studio, our team created a compelling program through quality content, an on-brand monochromatic aesthetic, and exceptional production values.
We helped keep their audience connected during the virtual program by incorporating visually impactful graphics and camera angles from our studio. The 50 in-person guests enjoyed experiencing the “backstage” side of event production as the live studio audience during the program. The program consisted of a live panel, an award ceremony, and pre-recorded remarks from local leaders.
For the virtual attendees, we developed a custom branded platform with a unique URL, embedded video, fully branded web design, and integration into the client’s donation platform. This custom platform housed everything Bottom Line needed for their virtual guests to have a seamless, on-brand experience even while attending virtually.
