They need to update their refrigerators. I had to put things in sideways. Only way my large bottles would fit. No freezer. Would have preferred blinds over what they have. Better blankets would have been better Also a comfy chair would have been nice. And a better table. Furthermore they should offer senior citizens a discount. I am 63 and had to pay full price. Oh and their restaurant was crummy. The soup was good but the meal was not good.

The logistics of getting around Chicago are a giant P.I.A but the sites and the people make up for it! The people at the hotel are very helpful and welcoming 🙂 they were even nice enough to print directions. The area is safe they have off street parking and the hotel is nice and clean.. good showers and a coffee.The bar serves food and breakfast that is graciously served A++ I would definitely stay there again

The facility suited our purposes fine. We just needed a place to crash for the night on short notice. I would say it was a budget level hotel especially for Chicago. That being said, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. The bathroom was also not too great, but again for the price and on short notice it was fine for our needs. There is a small convenience shop downstairs which did come in handy a couple times. The lobby has a refrigerator with food items for sale. There is also a bar/restaurant, although we were only there for one night and didn’t try it out.

Staying at this hotel was a good decision I made for a quick weekend trip to Chicago! The blue line is right there and you can see it from your window! The view is nice and you get to see so many planes fly right over you and the best part is, you don’t hear them. The room is great and spacious and has everything you really need. Easy access to the I-90 and a quick 15-20 min trip to downtown. The staff is great and helpful and if you love Starbucks its in the lobby and you can just go downstairs to get a cup. Highly recommend this hotel if you want something affordable and good!

Location was great for me. The building and room were clean and comfortable. Enough room to stretch out and relax. They don’t have free parking. Free parking is on public street if you can find it. The on site 35$ a night parking was a surprise, that they should make people aware of. That was the only surprise.

Worst experience! They didn’t provide the room with two double bed which I booked for 4 adults. After wasting 3 hours they provided a king bed with a commitment to provide additional bed. After waiting for another 2 hrs, when we called them, they refused to provide additional bed. When we try to communicate a problem with them, instead of listening they threaten my family with security.

We tried calling the manager but he was out of office and Greta – The person in-charge ( as per her ) was very rude and have no idea on how to handle a guest.

Dear Greta, Instead of keep pushing us to cancel the reservation ( even at midnight when you refused to provide a bed ) and lied about the actual reservation, you should provide a solution and help guest so that they can enjoy the comfort they paid using their hard earned money. And thank you for a great experience that day, harassment you did , keep threatening us to call security and also keep continue doing that throughout that night when you did not send a bed, avoid our calls.

100% recommended to people who want such a great experience of their life – and you have to a premium money for this. It’s worth every cent. Definitely keep you uncomfortable throughout night and will make sure that none of your request will be fulfilled straightforward, you have to keep trying or sleep without it. ( note: make sure you bring 4 adults )

Frustrating experience, I’d avoid if you care about your reservation going as planned. Upon arrival the lobby was swamped with people, long line and numerous frustrated guests waiting over various issues. The hotel did not honor our “guaranteed” reservation for 2 double beds in the room. Instead they gave us one bed and brought in a cot, with no price reduction. I spoke with the front desk person, who was quite rude and said we could stay somewhere else or accept a free parking pass (parking is a whopping $32 a day here, so we took that as the best option they would give us). We were still unsatisfied that we had reserved two beds and one of us needed to sleep on a cot for the same price.

The front desk staff was difficult and we overheard them complaining about other guests. I spoke with a guest nearby who had waited 1 hour for his AC to get fixed (his room was 90 degrees) and he only got free parking as well in return.

A third guest I talked to had the same issue as us: only given a single bed even though he reserved two beds, but they overbooked and ran out. Terrible service with this happening multiple times.

The rooms were very clean and nice, so nothing against the cleaning staff here. Just the combative administrative staff who allows the hotel to be overbooked and does not honor reservations, or compensate for changes after the fact.

Stayed here because of a really early flight out of O’Hara. Service was excellent as was the food and drink. Room was spacious and up to date.

No problem hopping a shuttle to the airport first thing in the morning. If this location was closer to my project worksite, I’d stay here every week.

Upon arrival I was told my reservation did not exist that it had been cancelled even though I had checked in with the app and was not notified about the cancellation so I could call in and check in on things. Staff recreated my reservation and gave me a room which was fine. The staff was friendly and attentive but overall by far the worst Marriott location we have stayed in and we stayed at many as I love the cleanliness and up to date rooms with wonderful amenities but this was bad. The suite was tiny. It was half the size of my usual king bed suites. The kitchen was tiny and super basic. The restroom tub was dirty and stained. No shampoo or conditioner or body wash ready at the room like my other rooms have been even through the pandemic. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. The sofa and carpet had stains. The night stands were outdated with no usb connecting outlets like the others. For the rates I paid I didn’t get a fraction of what I usually get so it was disappointing to say the least. Definitely will not stay at this location. Once again staff was great but the hotel could use updates. Since we weren’t really staying in we didn’t bother requesting another room.

I stayed there for more about 30 days. The staff was very professional and helpful. The hotel was very clean and rooms were exceptionally clean too. The complimentary breakfast was amazing as well. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. The staff was present whenever you needed them. The hotel is at a really good location. You never hear the planes coming in and out. The highway is easily accessible, and also a gas station (very important for international travellers). There were several restaurants closeby, which was a plus. I found everything to be very convenient.

I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to everyone!

Clean, efficient, helpful! Room has noise machines, which was perfect for the proximity to the airport. Once it was turned on, we couldn’t even notice the outside sounds. We stayed here during a large conference. The hotel was packed but the staff was still available, with little to no wait. Breakfast buffet was good for an in and out meal! No real food options nearby until after 5pm.

This was a fantastic one-night option! I got a fantastic rate on the room and it is an airport hotel so I will be taking that into account in writing my review. Knowing that it’s an airport hotel and most guests only stay for one or two nights, this was a great stay! This John Portman-designed hotel is absolutely beautiful and sparkling. I manage a commercial cleaning company so I am well-versed in cleanliness standards and procedures. I can tell you for a fact, the rooms and the hotel itself are super clean. Not only that, but the rooms are modern and cozy with great amenities. My only gripes are that the bottles of water in the rooms are $4 a pop, the showers are very small, and the in-house restaurant/convenience store are very very expensive. Other than that, I would highly recommend this as one of the best options in the area.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your stay. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t be disappointed.

I stay here every year and the rooms are clean, the shuttle to/from airport is easy and the staff is always kind. Would recommend.

Nice lobby & hotel restaurant, also connected to Gibsons. Parking bit of a mess, confusing where to park, still not sure what’s up with that & dirty, depressing walk from parking garage to inside of hotel (please refresh/clean up that bridge from garage to hotel as soon as it’s possible, terrible impression of property). Room was nice & clean, but never take room 214, saddest view ever. Safe hard to use as on floor of dark closet. Staff nice from front desk to housekeeping. Here for meeting on property. Meeting room was comfortable, and banquet meals were very satisfactory too.

It’s a beautiful hotel. Very open. Sunlit in the middle from floor to 7-story ceiling. Translucent double doors on the rooms. The front desk and maids are friendly and helpful. Parking garage is expensive, close to the hotel, but really large, empty and cut-off. Free self-serve breakfast is well-stocked but unsupervised. A little concerning during covid times. Omelets made-to-order are very good and fast.

Excellent, comfortable stay. I was stranded in Chicago for one night due to flight delays. The staff took great care of me. The Honors program hooked me up with a great 2-bedroom suite. Hot breakfast is the best in the morning before heading back to the airport.

This review is for the shuttle service that Chicago Marriott Suites offer. While the price may be slightly cheaper than at the surrounding hotels, I will never leave my car with them again. I spoke with two different people when I arrived at the airport. One of them told me that the shuttle would come in five minutes. Twenty minutes later I called to hear another person rudely explain to me that I was misinformed, and that shuttle left every half an hour instead. The person’s name was Sam. He asked me for the name of the person who misinformed me. However, I don’t mind waiting, and I know people make mistakes. Apologizing and patiently answering my questions is something what Sam should’ve done instead of rudely repeating the same information and not answering my question. Being nice and kind is a good thing. Be nice, Sam.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The only problem we had was with one employee. We had interactions with probably seven employees during our seven day stay. Everyone else was so nice, polite, and helpful. This man however (I do not know his name) we did not have a single pleasant interaction. Even with those interactions, we will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Chicago.

Stayed here a week for training, excellent service throughout. Polite and friendly staff, clean rooms, good food(it was provided by the hotel in one of the meeting rooms), heated indoor pool and a free airport shuttle are great! Right in the middle of the Entertainment District, the options are endless. The Blue Line is a 10 minute walk away, its about 40 minutes to downtown Chicago. The only downside is no fridge or microwave in the rooms, but they can be requested at the front desk.

Excellent stay! Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to quarantine in my room for 10 Days. The staff was able to extend my stay and accommodate my needs associated with a quarantine. They even posted a sign on my second floor window to help motivate and keep my sanity.

Good convention facilities with attentive service and great catering, but dirty hotel rooms with strong moldy smell. I wanted to love this place but the rooms need a good scrubbing. Staff is great and food in restaurants was great. Starbucks type kiosk on site also.

The check in process went really well. Even a week before checking in, when I called to make sure everything was confirmed, every staff member I talked to were amazing! Joann was super sweet and energetic. The room was super clean and room service was quick. Very comfy beds as well. I will definitely be checking in again soon! only thing I would change are the prices of from the menu. It’s a bit pricy but overall it was great!

Perfect Stay
This is truly an outstanding property. From the moment we were greeted upon entering, until checkout, we had a perfect stay. The entire property is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable we have ever experienced! There is wonderful dining right in front. (McCormick & Schmidt’s was excellent)
We attended the Peter White smooth jazz concert, right at the hotel and was a lovely intimate experience. There also a complimentary shuttle to & from the airport too.

After the remodel and purchase from Intercontinental, this is definitely not worth the high price. Charge for parking when they did not previously, Rooms have been remodeled for the worse, and the only difference is room size not luxury. Bar staff is nice and good selection but, there are so many other hotels with bars there is nothing special about this one.

UPDATE – Thank you for the generic response Loews Hotel. I received mirror email and comment response from different people. Looks like this will be the last time I visit.

We had really good experience during our family stay in the hotel couple days ago. Originally, we have booked the hotel for 3 days and added one extra day after the flight was delayed. The room was clean , nothing fancy but everything is suitable for good sleep and rest. Nice and clean swimming pool. The front desk lady was polite and very welcoming. We would most definitely stay here again. I want to add that we had to pay for parking lot $25 per day but it was not mentioning while I was booking the hotel.

There was an issue with the third party I used to book my rooms with but the customer service was excellent in helping me get through with that third party. On top of that room service was quick and top quality. Finally, there was an extra charge to my card and not even after a 7 min call everything was nicely settled. Top quality hotel and will probably come back again!

Stayed here for a night since I had a layover in Chicago. Good location for shopping and dining. Great access to the Blue Line CTA to get you to downtown if you want to go there. The room was good. Nothing too fancy but enough for a good nights sleep.

We have stayed at the Westin many times and last weekend had our wedding there. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is, but I have to point out the event planner, Vicky Cass. Vicky came through for us after our wedding planner bailed last minute and coordinated with my sister to make our weekend stress free. The gift of knowing things were handled by Vicky is priceless and we are forever grateful for both her professional and personal self. I highly recommend working with the Westin for your event or just to stay the night!

Great hotel. The rooms were just renovated, the beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious, and it’s probably got the best hotel gym I’ve been to in a long time. The only thing you need to be aware of (and this is common to every hotel near O’Hare Airport) is that there is a decent amount of airplane noise due to planes taking off and landing 24/7. The staff is friendly and the hotel common areas are clean and smell nice.

This hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Walking around the park area is nice too. There is a mall about 1 mile away and some pretty good pizza joints within walking distance. For a quick bbn layover, this hotel would be ideal. Very nice!

Definitely a “swanky” feeling hotel. It has a futuristic/modern feel to it with a very relaxing atmosphere with mood lighting throughout that building. The rooms are set up in a non-traditional way that bring a different feel to the room, but it felt like it was smaller than the typical room.

The hotel and rooms were really clean with a very nice smell to them. The bed was SUPER comfortable. I did order food and the front desk would not allow them up, but did call me instead. That’s good, as they’re keeping the building secure. The staff was also awesome and very friendly!

The one thing that would be on the more “negative” side, and it may be minor to one person and major to another is that they have more of a panel style drape than a cloth drape. It doesn’t block light coming in from the sides, the the room was a little more “bright” at night than desired, but the comfort of the bed made up in the end with a good nights rest. I would stay again anytime.

Bartender was smart and helpful and the long island ice tea was the smoothest and tastiest I have ever had and I have had them all over the USA for nearly 30 years. I went on a Friday night but it was only like 8 pm so it dead with the exception of two 50+ gents but I was told people show up later. Nice decor and low piped in pleasant enough music that would not get in the way of people talking.

It was nice and updated. Pet friendly hotel, they put you on the first floor but no designated area to take them potty, lots of grass around though.

Pool was a good temperature, not very big, but gets the job done. You can literally walk across the parking lot to get to all the entertainment. The casino was less than a 10min uber ride.

They have breakfast but it is not included. If you park in the parking garage there are no bag carts so you either have to carry everything or take 2 different elevators to get 1 and then walk back to car just to walk back so I suggest dropping off everything if you have a travel companion and then parking.

The mini fridge will fit about 6 cans, and a few bottles of water.

They will charge you for covered parking in the garage if you say you are driving even though they have a parking lot behind the building. The front desk employee lied to my face (of which I contacted Hyatt directly who remedied that situation). The rooms are outdated. Beds are fine but definitely not comfortable. Breakfast is expensive. I got a parfait, fruit cup and a drink and it was $27. Stay somewhere else.

I stay here once every year for work. I love the atmosphere. My last stay was decent but coming back this year there are a lot of improvements. For one it’s very clean here, the staff is a lot nicer and the new manager is great. I’ll be sure to let my colleagues know to stay here on our trips. Worth every penny for the value you receive. Aside from the Grade A food and service, I’ve NEVER seen a manager like RD who went WAY out of his way in a VERY stressful situation. We left a vital personal item at the restaurant. RD secured it and on his own personal time, OFF the clock and sent it via FedEX to us 300 miles away. There are managers and then there are individuals like RD who show what real servant leadership should be about. We are incredibly grateful. You rock, RD!

It was a great concert, unfortunately security wasn’t able to control a man who kept on yelling and interrupting the singer. We the audience, were asking him to “shut up” because we couldn’t listen to the stories from the artist.
also maybe have the ladies servicing the restrooms to do not just leave the new rolls on the floor and replace them properly ( I don’t think it is my job to do that)

This is a great place to eat! The service is top notch – the manager even came over and said hi. It’s upscale – if you want a steak dinner it’s between 55 and 100. BUT they have great sandwiches and burgers. I got the half rotisserie chicken. It was cooked and spiced to perfection. The white meat was even juicy. It comes with a BBQ sauce that is tangy-to-die-for. For under 20 it’s a DEAL! The portions are large. It’s also open a half hour earlier than caddy shack right next to it. You definitely want to get here! And get dat chicken!

Excellent service beginning at the front door all the way through the dining experience and even when you leave. The food is delicious! The portion sizes are very reasonable for the prices. The atmosphere was a warm dressy casual. I recommend a slice of the triple chocolate moose cake for dessert if you have a sweet tooth. That will take care of you for a long while. The slice is HUGE and you’re going to want to share it! Take your grown man wallet if you go here. This is not a combo meal restaurant.

I’ll give it a 3 star simply because the steak and crab were delicious.

I came in from out of town with my daughter for a couple of days. A friend recommended this restaurant and knows I love a good steak at a good restaurant.

First impression. We weren’t good enough to sit in the dining room. Maybe there is a dress code? I didn’t see mention of that anywhere, online or in person.

We were invited to sit in the bar.
Definitely not the same experience that I had been told about.

Didn’t get all of the food that I ordered. That’s ok. It wasn’t on the bill so it was just forgotten. No problem.

I’d give the downtown location a try however I would not recommend this one.

We had a private dinner at Carlucci last night. It was excellent! The staff were attentive, so friendly, and so professional. Every dish was delicious. Thank you to everyone at Carlucci for making the night very special for us as we commemorated our late grandmother. Highly recommend Carlucci for large family gatherings.

Amazing food & ambiance for a night out! Kind of on the expensive side, so great for a celebration! The wine selection was amazing and I was able to get a recommendation to go with my food. The waiter was so nice and helpful. When you get into the parking lot, valet is on the left directly in front of the doors, but if you pull into the right side lot you can self-park.
