Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is the best rated in the area. I’ve been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t regret it.

Beautiful hotel. The rooftop Blue bar is fabulous. Attended an event in a beautiful room on the ground floor. Excellent service. Top notch all the way around.

Great hotel. The older section is more aged, because it’s a historic hotel. But everything was really clean. We were there for a wedding and the service was impeccable. The bell hops/concierge were amazing. Such great service. And we did see a ghost on Saturday night!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, conveniently located, elevators always available, clean rooms, with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, ample outlets for charging your phone, etc. The fitness center is great with a few peloton bikes, several treadmills, weight bench, free weights, balls, mats, etc. The only downside (typical of 4 star hotels is no in room fridge or microwave). Brianna Greer, Chef (French for Chief) Concierge provides exceptional service crafting personalized experiences for hotel guests. I highly recommend this hotel ~ while the hotel is a beautiful place, the experience is all about the staff and this hotel is welcoming and makes you feel like family.

Very comfortable for two couples. Separate bedroom and bathroom areas. Nice space in between for relaxing. Small kitchen is great for cocktails or coffee or snacks. Hotel is a bit older and rooms are showing some wear. But rooms are clean and have everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Lobby was clean & beautiful. The ladies at the front desk is always so nice, they always welcome & greet you when you walk in or out of the hotel. The room we got is facing the river so it was nice. It’s clean, large and we loved the mini kitchen, equipped with enough things to make a home cooked meal if you wanted to. The gym was adequate, a lot of the weights are missing their matching sets, but still there was enough there to get a good work out in. I recommend this place.

Mrs/Miss Nora was the main reason we are giving this hotel five stars. She buzzes around the hotel at 100 mph getting everything done, always smiling, super cheerful, and many more exemplary qualities. The only blessing that comes out of COVID is it gives an opportunity for someone like Nora to climb the ladder faster. She made our stay wonderful.

Great, loved that there were still covid precautions in place. Olivia and Victoria were definitely amazing and were so helpful every day of our visit and considering that we were there for a family reunion, getting checked in and being somewhat close to each other and enjoying the hotel as well as watching the hawks and bucks on the screen right down the street from the hotel was a plus! You guys were so accommodating and extremely sweet to my little husky puppy every time we were down in the lobby. We’ll definitely be returning!

Tried to check in at 5:30pm and they said our room wasn’t ready. Told us that there was gonna be a 10-15 minute wait for our room. Wait an hour and check again, only to be given coupons for 15% off appetizers and drinks which we didn’t use. We waited a total of 2 hours for our room to be ready for check in and there was a $50 hold neither of us knew about beforehand. Ended up canceling our reservation at dinner because we couldn’t cancel without paying an even bigger fee. After checking in, everything was nice, especially the lady working the food station. She really helped us feel welcome

We are just not impressed, especially given the high rates. I truly wish we had booked down the road. There are a few positives, but they are outweighed by the negatives. To begin, we booked this hotel because of the king suite. We are traveling with our family and needed the extra space. However extra space isn’t so great for a one year old when the floors leave dark gray markings all over his knees and feet because they are so dirty. The floor seems damp/wet almost, and icky to walk on. Also, while we planned to disinfect surfaces on our own, it was clear they were not cleaned well enough before we arrived.

Another negative is the absence of a balcony. We had asked about this in advance before booking and were told they would make a note of it on our account/reservations. When we checked in it was not available and there was no real reason given for how the system works. We would have appreciated the fresh air… Especially because there was quite obviously weed being smoked in the rooms nearby. We wouldn’t care if we didn’t have 3 little ones trying to sleep. We alerted front desk, but nothing was done. Another drawback was the poor excuse for a pull out sofa bed. My husband attempted to sleep on it but it was extremely uncomfortable. As a couch it is even more uncomfortable and almost impossible to sit on. With all this room in a suite, there should be some decent furniture to relax on.

Long story short, nice space, terrible room. Not going to be back and never going to recommend.

Marriott Titanium here…. This is just an old, rundown hotel. The room was spacious but I found hair in the shower stall which was unpleasant. Shower took a full 3-4 minutes to warm up. Internet speed is anemic- ended up having to do all my work with a hotspot after a simple video call would not connect. This is really the main thing. You’re a downtown business-forward brand. Have working internet even if you charge an arm and leg, it’s almost 2022! There really is no excuse. This place and the overall experience was significantly below expectations, and if I had many of these, I’d try another brand. Luckily, this isn’t the norm at Marriott.

The staff were great.

This hotel was beautiful inside. I just love all of the art deco work and history. Sadly, the room was a little lacking. The people before us turned the AC down to 40 degrees, so it was basically dead by the time we got there. The unit worked, just didn’t circulate great in the room. Bathroom is small, but clean- definitely a one butt space. The staff was friendly and happy to help. The parking garage was easy to access from the hotel. It’s in a great location for walking around and enjoying sites- great option for a Bucks game!

Classic Hilton city hotel. Great/beautiful lobby. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Good dining options on the lower level including a tavern and fine dining option. A Starbucks was a welcome sight in the morning. Parking is a reasonable $7/night when I was there. Not quite five stars due to not quite excellent cleanliness and the room layout felt a bit awkward.

Customer service very good
Hotel is really neat older hotel, had issue with first room was very musky smell ; however, check in personnel was very responsive and moved me to a way more fresher and updated room. Their restaurant was a bit dated , some booths showing their age. The bar was really good place to hang out and food was really good. Of course must have the cheese curds , the size is well worth the price.

Incredible dog friendly hotel! I was thinking it might be kind of run down since they allow dogs but boy was I wrong. It may have been the single nicest room I’ve stayed in! The service was awesome, the area immediate around the hotel is really nice. They’re is a path next to the river and at night it is lit up and incredibly relaxing to walk or just sit and reflect. There’s a draw bridge that’s pretty neat too. All in all, a great escape.

Beautiful establishment and rooms were amazing. Staff was also amazing. Unfortunately covid restrictions are limiting your full drink and dining experience. Parking was also a problem forcing you to valet for $40 per day. Will definitely return when restrictions are lifted as we were not able to enjoy dining that was advertised on website.

For a wedding? Absolutely not. I mean don’t get me wrong the place is beautiful, great for photos. Prime location. But the event coordinator/planning was terrible. First there were problems with the food, and were going to make my friends pay more for food they didn’t want, and then they completely changed the tables from all round to one round and 5 other longer and shorter tables. I was told the event coordinator and staff were going to be setting up the tables, and having myself and a couple others check and make sure it was set up okay. We ended up doing all of the setup, after they took forever to set up the tables, and took away boxes of our decor that we needed. Didn’t offer any kind of assistance. Making us run behind on dinner, with guests arriving. There were supposed to be people serving the food, nope. They had nowhere to put the cakes to keep them cool, so they sat out for hours before they were cut. Were going to charge $2 per person if they had to cut it. So we had to do that as well, and they didn’t have enough plates or silverware for us to put it on. The one event coordinator was in the bathroom on Facebook instead of offering any kind of help, and then later was spotted drinking. She was supposed to find me and one other person to clean up decor, and then I see someone else randomly pulling stuff off tables and heaving it into the fireplace instead of asking us. Just very unprofessional, and not entirely sure what these people were being paid for, other than to bring out a box of tissues, and a couple put out a handful of tables. It was over 90 degrees outside and incredibly humid and it was as if their air conditioner wasn’t even on. Someone did ask them about that as well, and apparently they could not turn it down. Thankfully our friends had us to take care of things or their wedding might not have gone as well as it had. I understand times are a bit tough, and help is hard to come by nowadays, but what’s the point in paying people who aren’t going to do the job and do it well? Super disappointed, and I would surely never recommend this to anyone getting married.

STAY HERE. I love how the owner has embraced the spooky history of this hotel. From the architecture and interior design to the lobby music and the dress of the hotel’s staff – everything feels a bit frozen in time. To further enhance the already immersive experience, everything feels just a tad “twisted”… like a Twilight Zone episode perhaps? It’s almost like the place might be haunted! 😉

Overall, a great place to stay for a couple making a quick weekend visit. The character of the building is very fun (sleep in a brewery – YES!), and the location is wonderfully situated to be within walking (or stumbling) distance from other great attractions in/near the Deer District. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and WiFi was strong and fast. The staff were courteous and helpful, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

5-star price, 3-star amenities: our $450/night suite which sleeps 6 only came with only 2 sets of towels, no shampoo and not a bar or hand pump of soap to be found anywhere (room has a kitchen… not even dish soap either??).

When we called for these things, the front desk asked us to come down to pick them up due to being short staffed, which I completely understand, but couldn’t provide more than two bath towels (no additional wash cloths or hand towels) due to being short on supply. A hotel being short on linens is not excusable.

Lovely historic building, interesting lobby area and public spaces, friendly staff, but the hotel management needs to up their standard of service.

We stayed at the Brewhouse Inn and Suites for our wedding in one of the suites. My maid of honor and I stayed the night before, we finished getting ready there, took bridal party photos there, and then my husband I stayed that night. It’s in a great location, wonderful as a hotel itself, and a beautiful location for some pictures. I think there was a bit of miscommunication with photographers, as another party’s photographer said they had a scheduled time for photos, which we knew nothing about. Aside from that and the parking being a block away, everything else was perfect!

I came on Saturday to stay here for 6 nights. I paid online in advance to just reserve the room. $1204 was the amount of money taken in advance.
During my check in process, the receptionist wanted to check my credit card, then he charged me $685!!
I told him that I paid online but he just said “ that was by mistake “
They overcharged me $330 two days after that. Today, they charged me $210!

Please, if you to have a really good stay, don’t you ever come to this place.

Worst hotel in Milwaukee. Booked 2 queen beds, gave us room with only one bed. When went to back to desk, night clerk Thomas gave us attitude about changing rooms to the one we booked and angrily threw new keys at us. Upon check out realized that they overcharged us $100 for the room. Called hotel several times to rectify the situation and was twice promised a call back from the general manager but nothing has happened. Now seems that this is commonplace. Hotel is run down, breakfast is a joke, staff incredibly rude except Shaquilla who pleasantly answered the phone every time we called. This hotel is a bait and switch operation which should be avoided at all costs. There are many nice hotels in the area and as frequent Milwaukee business travelers we decided to give this one a try. Never again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump.

I stay at 3 to 4 hotels a month and by FAR this was the WORST. I prepaid for the room in advance…they gave a subpar room than what I paid for because they gave my prepaid room away. They took my debit card and billed me AGAIN for the room. Cannot get any manager at any time day or night to return my calls. No one else can refund my double payment so I am told! Filed a complaint with Marriott and the better business bureau. Apparently this is commonplace for them. Liars and thieves! Going ANYWHERE else!!!!!!

Update: Manager returned my call. Finally felt heard regarding this stay. She listened and was validating. Glad situation was settled. 8/10

——-

All around disappointing stay.

There was no soap in the bathroom when we first checked in, and it took a long period of time for someone to bring soap.

A dirty towel was left in the room.

Trash cans didn’t have any liners or trash bags. We had to ask room service the following day for bags.

Someone’s old soda bottle was left in the fridge. The fridge smelled.

The sheets were stained.

There were random toothpicks in the sheets and scattered on the floor.

The room was smaller than expected and our last night, the hall and room smelled like weed.

The front desk person was/is overworked. Front desk was very hospitable given the circumstances.

No breakfast, as listed on websites.

Manager was unavailable during our stay.

Glad we packed Clorox wipes and front desk person eventually brought up some soap. 7/30

The bed sheets were stained yellow with visible hairs, one of the two lights in the bathroom did not work, one of the light switches to the main room did not work, and there was mildew/mold along the edges of the bathtub. After walking around in socks for less than 5 minutes while waiting for housekeeping to change the sheets, the bottom of my white socks were completely black. The carpet had obviously never been cleaned.

Upon calling the front desk and informing them of my first 5 minutes of poor experience, I requested a clean room but was informed they could not accommodate my request because there were no room available. When I went online there were listings available at the hotel for the duration of my stay, so there were rooms available and the front desk had lied to me.

The air conditioning in the room did not work throughout the weekend. The thermostat was set to its lowest setting but the air never turned on the air despite reading the room temperature at 76 degrees.

I woke up one morning to relax in the lobby. An employee approached to ask that I leave the area as she was about to clean. I left for an hour and a half, came back, and sat down at the same exact chair. After a couple minutes, the same employee approached and asked that I leave so she could clean the area. I can only imagine during the hour and a half I was away, she did not get around to cleaning the area and I was kicked out of the lobby prematurely.

This hotel is overpriced for the low level of quality I experienced. I would have been better off sleeping in my car and showering at a nearby gym.

Hotel is fine, although it was colder and was told the heating was not on. They offered a space heater (which is a fire hazard). The main issue is that absolutely nobody was using a mask. It did not feel safe enough to be comfortable moving around. Next door on the Hilton, most of the employees were masked (and btw, the heat was working).

This was a great hotel with many amenities including free cookies every day! It is close to the Amtrak and streetcar systems. There is only one other restaurant close by and parking is only by valet. Ok, I generally steer clear of hotel restaurants. Especially if it looks like I will be the only patron during the dinner hour. That said, hungry and late I took a chance. wow. what an experience. first of all, the room that we ended up staying in had bloodstains all over the walls and the floor was constantly damp and slightly sticky. I would’ve been okay with this if it weren’t for the fact that our next door neighbors were playing music at full volume until 2am and beginning 8 am the next day. Then, we woke up at 8 am to incredibly loud yelling and fighting. Next thing we know, we are hearing someone getting physically assaulted next door. Unfortunately, there was no number to call for security/help so we knocked on the door to try to intervene. We also asked the front desk to check if everyone is okay. This is just a genuine concern that they don’t have a help number available in the rooms. Third of all, our car got broken into in the parking lot overnight. Windows broken, ignition torn apart and everything. Fourth of all and just the cherry on top, the hotel charged me TWICE for an already way too expensive room ($149 for a night in a disturbing dirty room) and would not refund me. Overall, shut this hotel down or something, this isn’t normal. On a positive note, the staff here were all very nice and warm people.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Visited Milwaukee for the Bucks game this past weekend and got put into a hotel room where the ac literally was constantly dripping water all over the floor whenever we had it running. It soaked my entire bag filled with clothes that was laying by my bed. On top of that, this is a spectacular hotel if you enjoy bloodstains all over the room and walls. Really gives you that “homey feeling”
.” Asked to have maintenance/ front desk to come and look at the issues to see if they can move me to a new room and they never did. I would recommend spending the extra money and staying elsewhere. I’ve been in a motel 6 that is more clean than this.

First off, the people that we dealt with were nice so there’s that.

However, the whole stay was just unacceptable. First off, the parking situation is a joke. Don’t bother with valet, you’ll pay to still be reliable for anything that happens to your car. Save yourself the $30.

We got to the room that was advertised as a river view. Just the street… so save yourself another $10 there.

The room won’t go under 75 degrees. It was nicer outside than our room. You can’t fit anything in the refrigerator and there’s no way to warm any food you have.

The top of the A/C had clearly fallen off previously and had just been set back on. We found this out trying to adjust the temperature. What a joke.

You’ll find bugs in your bed. While it’s not bed bugs, still not worth $300+ for any of this.

Just save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. I’m in town working for the weekend and thanks to this place I’ve gotten zero sleep and would rather wonder the town than stay here. I wish I could give this zero stars.

We booked a room block for our wedding at the ALOFT and it was absolutely PERFECT!! Greta helped me arrange a “bridal get ready room” for the day of, and also helped with all the book blocking/changes/adjustments! Hotel was beautiful and perfect, right on the Milwaukee River!

This place was SPECTACULAR! The Beer Hall is enormous and has plenty of seating. Everything is clean and neat. The staff are super nice. Food was really really good (we had the cheese curds, pretzel, and the mac n cheese). My boyfriend had the lager and I had the Watermelon Lime Seltzer and both were also very good. We accidentally dropped by on trivia night on Wednesday and everyone was having a good time. Will definitely stop by next time we’re in Wisconsin

What a fun Brewery this is! I’ve had Lakefront Brewery canned but I haven’t gone to check them out yet until today. Visiting this place was so much fun! The building is located right on the water and you can sit outside and take in the river views as people pass by on their kayaks and boats. It’s so serene and relaxing!

We hear the cheese curds are the best here, so we’ll have to come back to eat too! The staff was nice and helpful, and the beer was great! I can’t say enough about places that feel like they take pride in what they are doing. Keep that vibe going! Can’t wait to head back!

*Must stop in MKE because it’s the best brewery in the area! The tour is the best by far, the staff is even better – they love their jobs and they love beer! The patio is very large that can seat lots of people during peak hours along the river. The cheese curds are our favorite app on the menu but close second is the fish fry! They offer food inside and outside along with two different smaller taps outside. Parking along Commerce is easy to find or can you park on the side streets. Highly recommended!

The Knickerbocker is located in the center of all that is Milwaukee. It is close to great restaurants, museums, and even the Milwaukee Kayak Company and Milwaukee Public Market. Our room was classic and reflected a time when you could actually open the window to get fresh air (fourth floor). I’d recommend it to all.

Mr Larry Robe your response to my review was filled with slander and falsehood. I am 1000% sure that your camera will show and proof the evidence. What 8 women are you referring to? When I entered the premises alone with my Animal? He was on leash and attached to me the entire time. Psychology? You have continued to repeatedly insult and degrade me. I have endured tremendous disrespect and poor customer service from You Mr. Robe. This could have been resolved with kindness and respect. I would not recommend anyone to visit Knickerbocker on the Lake especially if they own a Animal. Good Luck.

9/10 WOULD RECOMMEND! Lobby is so classy and well kept. I travel for work often and AJ is by far the BEST concierge I’ve come across. He was so genuinely kind and welcoming, it felt like I had a run in with a childhood friend! He went above and beyond helping me carry in my child and our belongings & gave us some excellent restaurant options. Room was gorgeous. Kitchen was a huge plus. Only reason for 9 and not 10 is apparently residents are allowed to smoke inside thier apartment which kind of fills the halls. But luckily it didn’t penetrate mine.

An audio tour was available for an extra price. It was a good experience. The different bikes were interesting to learn about. If you’re not an enthusiast, I wouldn’t suggest going. I was interested in seeing Elvis’s bike but couldn’t find it. There was a place where you could sit on several different bikes, that was fun. Over all, not bad. They do have a gift shop and a restaurant next door. Both a bit pricey but very friendly. I wouldn’t visit again but it was an interesting first visit.

Fun experience. Self guided tour. It was a little more pricey than I thought it would be, since from the website I got the drift that the tour was free and only the experiences or classes were a cost, but it was fun. Informational, neat to see all the bikes. I enjoyed seeing the donated bikes or ones used in movies. Some parts of the floors were blocked off like the archives or other areas which would’ve actually been neat to see. Takes about an hour to look at everything if not longer. Overall a neat experience. Worth it if you really like Harley. Stopped at the gift shop afterward and got some really neat things. There’s also a River right next to it and can go on the River walk. Nice campus. We saw a spot where you can test drive a Harley too.

This is Milwaukee must see. The museum is laid out well and has all sorts of random trivia. I recommend paying the extra for the audio tour. They have it set up so you can go in any order you want. There are a few hands on, a fair number of videos; and of course, a ton of bikes and information. The restaurant is on par with most of the area hot spots and the gift shop has everything you could want and then some.

The Plaza was a very nice place to stay, I would definitely stay here again. There was a small kitchen in our room, which was awesome. There is also a $15 nightly charge for parking, which was not bad compared to other parking locations in the area.

A few things to take note of: the beds are advertised as queen but the one we had was a full. Additionally, the pillows are very BIG. I’m not sure if the ones we had were just new and not worn in, but the pillow was so high that it was uncomfortable and easier to sleep without it. The bathroom was also small and dated, which goes with the theme of the hotel, but this might be one area to update.

Overall, for the price, this was a good place to stay. Check it out!

We loved the hotel itself, it was very clean and we loved the atmosphere, the room and the building. Parking was a breeze! Check in was efficient but not friendly and unfortunately, when we asked at the front desk if the hotel had umbrellas for guests to borrow, we were treated rudely, reluctantly given umbrellas and reminded, with a condescending tone, that there is a $25 fee if we lose them. The same front desk staff member also recommended a place for us to eat that was closed, we walked 4 blocks, in the pouring rain, to a closed restaurant and then 4 blocks back to the hotel. This was very frustrating for my husband and me. We are frequent travelers and find this treatment of guests uncommon, rude and inhospitable. On the fence about returning to this one.

I enjoyed my self it’s so organized. The DJ was great kept us entertained the whole time. Clean. So energetic the forum kept it alive the whole time it was great. They had non profit organizations running some of the snack stands to raise money for their organization it was awesome.

One of the best basketball arenas that I have ever been too and now one of the best music venues too. Went to Dan & Shay and it was amazing! The sound, the seats and the staff are the best. Would recommend parking near the brewery which is free and a short walk.

Great music! Great team! Great food! Great game! Cameramen need a little more practice getting fans on the jumbo screen. Scanned over the same group of people the entire game. I danced my heart out goshgolly!
