$60 For a shoe box bed and a 2 foot wide shower. The bed was harder than the concrete walkway outside… How are you guys open? Although I did not book a room (I stumbled upon this place late at night) the room size was not terrible. There were cockroaches crawling out of the sink and from under the bed. Honestly look like a horror movie scene, and I could hear the whispering from the people in the other room.

I haven’t stayed in this lodge yet, but I am looking forward to it. I would like to share my recent experience with one of the staff members because I believe it is important to recognize employees who go above and beyond to help others. Her name is Kayla, and she is the nicest and most attentive/helpful person that I have ever encountered in any hotel. I called yesterday to ask about a reservation that I made to attend my son’s graduation, and she explained to me all the details and provided me with information that I didn’t even know. In addition, she answered all my questions politely and believe me, I had many. Also, I made a mistake with my reservation, and she was prompt to help me fix it. I even had to call her again to clarify something else, and she did it.
So, thank you so much Kayla for your dedication. It is greatly appreciated!

We stayed at the Navy Lodge for 2 nights. The customer service was great and the room was clean. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable and the free breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Absolutely so thankful to everyone at this office. I would recommend them 1 million times. They are all so amazing and have such big hearts. I had so much anxiety with this pregnancy after having a miscarriage before. I shared that with Dr. London and Dr. Cohan and NP Terri. They all understood my fear and helped me be ok no matter what time of day. These doctors and even receptionists were all guardian angels. Not once did they judge or were rude when I had questions about everything under the moon about the pregnancy. They cared for me, my well being and baby. Everyone from the nurses to nurse practitioner to the Doctors are blessings. Thank you for taking good care of us.

Dr. Cohan and the office staff are very nice. I have been going to the office since my youngest son was born, back in 2008. Ever since then Dr. Cohan has helped me with many concerns that I had, and is always very nice and honest. I really recommend the Westmoreland ObGyn group.

I went to Rosalind Franklin University Health Clinics to get my Covid-19 vaccination. They had it set up beautifully. Everyone was really pleasant, and I felt safe and very comfortable. The process was smooth and took less than an hour. The only problem was that the place is hard to find! Do NOT turn in at the University. The Clinics are south of there. My GPS got it wrong.

I have been going to Knauz for over 10+ years and was looking forward to finally buying the car I have wanted for a long time. I had an appointment to see the vehicle and purchase it but when I arrived was informed they had already sold it. I was told I was sent an email regarding the sale. That email was sent 9 minutes before my appointment which was while I was already waiting in the lot to go inside the dealership. Zero communication on their end letting me know someone else was even looking at the vehicle. If I knew that was the case I would have gladly come in sooner to complete the deal. The most annoying part for me is that my salesperson knew this was the car I had been looking for since the beginning of the year. Was told multiple times I was on his “hot list”. I understand there is no certainty in the car business, but I know a thing or two about customer service and customer loyalty. Knauz failed and has lost a customer (which I’m sure they don’t care about).This would have been my second car from Knauz and I was looking forward to future business as well. Clearly shows how much they appreciate their customers and return business. Thanks a lot!

Matt P at Karl Knauz was awesome to work with. Straight talker, will get you what you want with no time wasted, and easy going. He was able to get me a fantastic car, ordered directly from the factory, at a fair price and without any silly back and forth negotiating. Also a true BMW enthusiast so he knows the product and stands by it. Once the car arrived he arranged to have it shipped to me by a competent carrier at a fair price. Having just purchased a car from Knauz, we want to give a five star plus rating to associate, Spencer Parker. Spencer from our initial contact exemplified the highest level of professionalism, product knowledge and customer relations. Before contacting Knauz, we had completed much online research narrowing it to three possible choices offered at Knauz. Spencer carefully planned our review of these options, taking utmost care in respecting our time, requests and explaining product benefits. Everything he said he would provide, he did with care and positivity. He made us feel comfortable and reassured during the buying process – never pressured. When we had any product or buying process questions, Spencer completely answered them. He always listened and his follow-up was amazing! Buying a car is a challenging process and the reason we purchased from Knauz was the customer care we received from Spencer. It was superior to other dealer associates and proves he is a real asset. Had an oil change today. I pulled into the service bay and the two service men I encountered were polite and helpful. The service advisors, Dan H and Dan G, were both informative and friendly. I found the waiting room comfortable and enjoyed a cup of Starbucks coffee. Both Dans stopped in while I was waiting with updates. Bonus, something that I didn’t even mention needed attention was taken care of for me complimentary. Great team and that’s why my family has been using Chevy Exchange and will continue to. Thanks!!

Purchased my car used with 50,000 in April 2021. Brought the car home to realize they missed a windshield crack in the inspection before selling the car. They agreed to “fix it.” I thought they would replace windshield but instead they just spot coated the glass. Brought it back in a second time and they did the same thing but this time made it worse and had 3 star cracks. Had to go through a nightmare to get them to agree to replace the windshield. They did but there was damage to the rubber trim around the window.

Within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle the car wouldn’t start. After jumping it, it started. Next day same issue. After 3 days of jumping the car brought it back. They argued that the battery was fine running at 50% capacity but that I needed to replace it. This didn’t make sense but I agreed to replace the battery at 50% discount.

Fast forward to September I brought the car to Ford for a recall notice. Ford did a full inspection and found another $2500 of repairs (oil leak, water pump replacement). Ford also said that whoever installed this battery installed the brackets upside down which caused the battery to dent and could cause acid leak and future problems. They recommended to take it back to Chevy Exchange and demand a replacement.

Brought it in today and they tried to argue that although the battery was dented it was still running good and there was no need to replace it. I had to escalate to the service manager to finally get them agree to replace the battery because of their initial fault of installing it wrong.

DO NOT BUY USED CARS HERE. They will not do a proper full inspection and when you do have an issue you will make multiple attempts to escalate argue and threaten before they will back any of their work.

I wish I have never bought my car here. This was by far the worst buying experience I have had. Wasted so much time and energy. I also live 1 hour from the dealership so you can calculate how much time I have been without a car due to multiple services and issues.

July 2014 – From the very start of my experience with The Chevy Exchange they have been the most customer friendly car dealer I had ever experienced. All of their Sales staff and their Service staff have all been consistently friendly, and interested support personnel. You can’t do better than The Chevy Exchange – THEY ARE #1.

The company pays good but management is horrible, its alot of favoritism shown for certain coworkers, They overwork you with job duties, managers have bs attitudes and expect all the employees to solve problems that they are supposed to be solving. i would rather work for a 15.00 paying job other than working for this toxic, disfunctional company.. hopefully they fire all the nasty managers and get new nice ones that actually care about the employees!

Well of course my parents were wealthy residents of this community, and I absolutely loved this school. Quite a classy school, and not everyone “fits in.” I am now an accomplished author and an attorney in the Chicago area. Although I now live in Winnetka (can’t quite afford the lifestyle now that my parents have moved back to Hamburg) I do miss living here.

My wife and I were stationed at Great Lakes and left in April 1979. We had not been back to No. IL until we strayed from a cross country trip to seek out The Silo. The thought of that deep dish pizza was just too much.

It was exactly as we remembered it – and the pizza was as great as ever. Cross another item from our bucket list.

If your a fan of the “G…” Chicago pizza, it’s worth a trip to Lake Bluff for a truly GREAT deep dish pizza.

This was my first time here. The pizza was really good. The best I’ve had in a long time. Service was good and friendly. The workers really took pride in cleaning the tables and chairs. Overall, it’s a great place to eat and chill. Great first experience.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. Well, I wish I didn’t. First, our bartender/waiter named Steven hovered next to our table, waiting for us to order. Once we ordered, we waited 45 minutes for him to ask us AGAIN (after we already ordered) if we wanted food. We ordered food 45 minutes ago…and soft pretzels for Christ sake! When the pretzels FINALLY arrived, they were trash. There was no salt and no flavor on them & the beer cheese they came with was chunky. We had to get up from our table to eventually ask for the check & get up again to hand it back to him THEN wait another 10 minutes for him to give us our card back. I was really hopeful with this place, but was highly disappointed and displeased.
