I arrived at the property a little bit early, slightly under an hour early to be precise. I was offered the opportunity to check into my room, but only if I paid a $30 fee. To be clear, the room was empty and ready, but I was given a choice to wait in the lobby (on a rainy day) or pay $30. SO, I SAT IN THE LOBBY (with other people) AND LOOKED AT THE CHECK IN PERSON FOR 30 MINUTES WHILE THE EMPTY, FULLY PREPARED AND EMPTY ROOM WAS AVAILABLE UPSTAIRS.

So, in Covid, the policy of the hotel is to make people wait in groups in the lobby (or pay a fee) for fully available, empty rooms.

I understand if a room is not available or ready due to staff having to clean the room. I get it.

But this is the mindset of the management of this property.

You would expect better service from staff when you say hilton but staff wasn’t that helpful plus service wasn’t great and keep in mind that you have to pay for your own parking and its $22 a night

Accessibility to main lobby needs attention – door slams shut after only opening 3/4 of the way – Wheelchair caught the brunt of the damage. It would have knocked over anyone using a walker. Bathroom door hinges were pulled out of door frame. Appearance of mold around exterior electronic window shade control panel. Room entryway and bathroom floor sticky – when washed with wet towel using water displayed considerable dirt on the towel. Front desk calls went unanswered then placed on extended holds without coming back to the line at ‘multiple’ times during our stay. Stayed at this location because of proximity to our family, however, several years ago when the hotel was being remodeled we had similar issues. I guess even with a remodel this hotel is not managed well. And don’t tell me it’s because of the pandemic. This is just a lack of attention to taking care of guests.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your hotel. This site will compare countless hotel sites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I’ve been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let down.

The hotel was absolutely amazing and their hospitality was out of this world.

Nice hotel! Central location is to most shops and eateries. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because we had to park two blocks away. Hotel does not offer parking.

The hotel itself is clean and pleasant. Parking is a couple blocks away, not a deal breaker for me but I would not book it for my older parents.
The staff was pleasantly at check in and mostly pleasant at check out. Near by food closes fairly early for a college area as well, obviously not in the hotel control but info about late night eats could be helpful.

Great school. Students are very well rounded. Not just smart, but also interesting and of high character. Able to get a broad spectrum of perspectives because of the cuturally and demographically diverse class of students. Professors are knowledgeable and it was out of pocket dollars well spent for engineering graduate studies. President Obama spoke here as well!

An amazing stadium..We.went there for my nephews football game. The fans were nice, facilities clean and the concession food was good. I especially like the ease of getting into the stadium.. if you drive the parking is about a 10 minute walk from the stadium.. I suggest taking the Metra train if you live near a station because it let’s you right off near the stadium.

Not that the stay is poor… but they have a ‘mystery’ group staying and all rooms are booked indefinitely. I can’t book June, July and no commitment for August. Perhaps it should be mentioned on their web page??

Teachers are okay. Some can’t teach for their life, some are over qualified and some are just awesome. Extracurricular are okay. Vast array of different clubs and sports that pretty much accepts anyone. Fencing is a good one if you are interested. Offers a lot of resources and different classes to take.

I personally went to this school when i was younger and it was fantastic. It is a well designed building, with a main building and a annex building. The teachers and staff are all very nice and happy people. My teenagers are now here

My aunt and uncle live here and I really think that it is a cool place! It is neat, clean, and organized. They take care of the seniors. They care about them and help them. The Mather has activities and things for people there and have great employees!!! They are friendly employees and are really great at there job. I would give this a 12 star rating if I could!

“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not a mark of weakness but of power and unspeakable love”. I came in to work to skilled facility here in Evanston and as I came in I asked a resident how he was doing, held his hand and he started to shed tears. I felt such connection in that moment and it is very rewarding. For me, that tears means joy and a relief. Here at The Mather, I feel so lucky and be a part of the Life Center where it truly values the lives of our residents. My managers are working so hard with so much passion and compassion. I knew from the very first day at The Mather that here is where my heart is. Thank you.

My family and I happened to be walking by this beautiful house yesterday. As I walked up to read the plaque by the front door it opened and an older gentleman asked if we would like to look inside. He said the last tour for the day was over but we could just walk around a bit. He then proceeded to give my family and I a personal tour of the entire first floor, I can not imagine that the official tour could have been any more informative.

Iwona my teller was very unpleasant. Branch is very clean and other tellers and bankers seemed upbeat but she was not. Did not greet me nor reply to me politely asking how she was doing. Proceeded to throw my ID and credit card towards me after our transaction when I initially politely handed them to her. Did not ask if there was anything else she can help me with after and did not reply when I said thank you have a nice day. Made me not want to visit this branch in the future for small day to day business let alone consider private banking.

Donna was/is the best banker I’ve ever had the experience of working with 😊😊😊She helped me quickly and efficiently when other banks and bank branches gave me such huge problems. The rest of the branch staff gave their support as well. Donna was amazing though!!

This Chase should be an example of how all Chase banks should run. I have been a business client and a private client and I absolutely think the people here are amazing. Ask for Donna if your thinking about switching and your a business she knows her stuff and is great at followup.

This restaurant discriminates. I’m saddened by the fact that they are so evil. For the restaurant you are outright horrible in being apart of this non sense. For the employees there are other restaurants hiring but the fact you are fine segregating people is disgusting! You all are an awful disappointment to the country and I hope people will be smart enough not to support your agenda is ruining this amazing country! I will never recommend anyone here! Food is awful, service is terrible and they have completely changed.

Ordered delivery for the first time this evening. We ordered a few hours in advance and the food arrived in a timely manner & warm. I couldn’t catch the delivery person’s name but he was very nice and friendly. Food was great overall (all seafood). We’ll be coming back! Thank you.

I was able to say I was not sure if you guys got that message ..(before I said my name..)

She then hung up..it sounded like maybe andreas had picked up the phone first ..said nothing ..just a tiny sound

The cafeteria in the lower floor of Rotary is a hidden gem. Great great staff, really good salad bar, custom made burgers and sandwiches, and a rotating special of the day including some good Chicago food trucks and vendors. All for very decent prices. Soup is just $2-$2.50 for example.

This review is for my local mail person Jerome, last week I was expecting a package and not only did Jerome track it down for me he circled back to make sure I had it in hand that day! The item was for an wedding that weekend. I have seen Jerome takes the time to get to know our neighbors. He is super and I don’t know how to let US Post Master know that because Jerome is a long time carrier who cares, I am so thankful!!

This place will do everything to waste your time and not provide service. We called and specifically asked if walk-ins are allowed for passports and told they were. We walked in; the person at the counter says no walks ins; appointments only. The person in front of us left their appointment early and the woman at the counter could have helped us and refused. I’ve had so many awful experiences here with mail and packages as well.

Great facilities but poor personal training staff – think before you try their free training session – it’s a waste of my time. All I want was a training session but all they want was to know my eating and training habits and sell me courses. The session ended at 30 mins early when they realized that I won’t buy their courses.

Vicky needs to be reevaluated as a cashier she should not be in costumer service if she has a horrible attitude and knows it. I try not to come to this location because it’s usually a bad experience but it’s the only one closest to me. Will try to shop elsewhere from now on today’s experience was the worst management did nothing about it.

During these times with the pandemic, I totally understand and respect the need for distance and safety. But, customer service and sensible kindness shouldn’t be sacrificed as a result. Or at least not receive dirty looks, or getting scolded for not staying at the taped line. It took one second to just look at the price of the register. Sorry~~

Other than that, good prices for a good selection. Sometimes cheaper and better than wholefoods, down the street.

Beware of cashier H, Nicole. She is a disgrace to Trader Joe’s culture. I brought 2 TJ bags from home. I asked this cashier to double it. She said that one bag was enough. She handed me the bag full of groceries and it was very heavy. I emptied the contents so that I could double bag it myself. She was upset that I was “wasting her time”. When a colleague showed up, she lied that she did not hear me tell her to double the bag….and cherry on the cake, she started eyeballing me like the ghetto person that she is. What a sad person. and what a terrible experience!

I went for an interview here last Tuesday for a Receptionist job. The HR interviewer was really nice to me and we chatted and at the end of it, she said to me I really want to offer you a job as an Administrator Assistant position. So I said thank you so much and smiled. To me, when someone says that, that means that you are getting a job. To be honest, do not tell someone that if you are going to decline them. I do not want to sound rude, because that is not who I am. I just want to work for a great company like this one. I thought I was going to get the job, because I am really good at Excel. I work with Excel everyday and that should be enough. I really wanted to get the Administrative Assistant position, because I give 110 percent, I am very prompt and I am really fast learner. I work so hard on all of my work. Also, work for me, comes first. It would mean the world to me, to get a job here. Everyone working here, are so nice and friendly. This is my dream job to work at a place like this place. This job is everything what I am looking for. I will be the happiest girl to work for such a great company like this place.
