AN ELEVATED CORPORATE CONFERENCE ON THE CALIFORNIA COAST
BlackOak Technical Productions partnered with a leading client to deliver a three-day corporate conference at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, complete with five ancillary events designed to reflect the elegance and energy of the California coast.
General Sessions featured a panoramic LED wall designed to resemble the pages of an open book, a symbolic canvas for daily keynote themes, content chapters, and storytelling beats. Celebrity appearances included Aaron Paul, Bill & Giuliana Rancic, and mentalist Oz Pearlman. Each day unveiled a new experiential environment tailored to its setting, with BlackOak overseeing all media production, playback, cueing, and live content delivery.
The Opening Reception transformed the courtyard with large-scale projection mapping of the Ritz-Carlton’s newly approved tartan, creating a kinetic, living pattern across the property architecture. Guests were immersed in interactive entertainment including fire dancers and sway pole performers, setting the tone for an ambitious, high-production weekend.
The event concluded with an Awards Gala inside a custom-built tent. BlackOak consulted and oversaw the design & install of the audio, lighting, and stage design resulting in an elevated, emotionally resonant finale to the program.
